Book Review: Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire (Wayward Children #2)

It’s no secret that I loved Every Heart A Doorway but one of the reasons I loved it so much is The Adamses, specifically Jack and her antihero readiness to hide the bodies like that’s completely normal.

Down Among the Sticks and Bones is a prequel, diving into the story of the twins and the chest with a staircase to the Moors.

You get to see a soft, dolled up little girl find her way to science and a sporty tomboy find her way to flowy dresses and murder. But there are rules in the Moors and this is the story of those rules getting broken in a fit of sisterly jealousy and their escape in an act of sisterly love.
